Index Tower, DIFC

Index Tower is an 80 story mixed use building located directly in the hear of the Dubai Interntional Financial Centre (DIFC). The first four floors are service floors, 5th to 29th floor is office space with the residences starting from the 31st floor upwards. The Index is one of the first towers in the region to intelligently embrace its climatic surrounding environment within its fundamental design principles. The tower's environmental strategy significantly lowers the requirement for air conditioning within the building and therefore substantially reduces the energy costs for its tenants The tower has car parking for 2,442 cars.[1] A double height sky lobby separates the offices and apartments with recreational facilities, such as a swimming pool and a gym. There is also an abundance of retail connected to the building at Index Mall and the Gate Avenue is only a short walk from the building. The building is ideally located adjacent to Downtown meaning the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa are only a short walk away.
